The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 273 of 2016 registered under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and 47(A) Bihar Excise Act.
The allegation is of recovery of total 143.28 litres of English Wine from the Scorpio Vehicle.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is owner of the Scorpio Vehicle, who handed over his vehicle to the driver Md. Asif. When he did not return in time, he tried to contact his through mobile but he found his mobile was switched off. Further submission is that

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M., Gaya in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No. 273 of 2016 subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr. P.C. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Shail/- U T
