The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gaunaha P.S. Case No. 45 of 2018 registered under Sections 498-A, 304B read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the allegation that within one year of marriage the petitioner killed his wife for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry by setting her on fire, I am not inclined to grant him bail. The application is rejected.
