The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in a case instituted for the offence under Sections 323, 341, 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. It has been submitted that the petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 are elder brother and sister-in-law (bhabhi) of the husband of the informant whereas the petitioner No. 3 is mother-in-law of the informant. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners.

From the written report, it appears that the informant was married with Vipul Singh in the year 2012. She has been

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3642 of 2017 (2) dt.10-02-2017 2/2 tortured in her sasural for demand of dowry by the husband and other accused persons. The husband has also solemnized second marriage. These petitioners are family members of the husband of the informant.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioners above named in the event of surrender within six weeks from the date of receipt of this order, in connection with Jamui Mahila P.S. Case No. 48 of 2016, shall be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamui, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) Cr. P.C.
