JUSTICE MIHIR KUMAR JHA ORAL JUDGMENT 07-04-2015 Having regard to the fact that petitioner in this writ application, being the widow of late Md. Harish, resident of Village- Barharwa, P.S.- Dumra, District- Sitamarhi, who was working as a Choukidar at the Dumra Police Station in Sitamarhi and was allegedly killed on 29.06.2013 in course of discharge of his duties, the issue relating to payment of ex-gratia amount has to be decided by the State Government strictly in accordance with its own rules and policy.

2. Therefore, if the petitioner would represent her case before the Home Secretary, the same shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to be enclosed with

Patna High Court CWJC No.4611 of 2015 (2) dt.07-04-2015 2/2 the representation filed by the petitioner.

3. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
