2. This writ application has been filed for issuance of a direction to the respondent authorities to cancel the rent receipts issued by the Circle Officer, Manjaulia to Rajendra Sah (Respondent No. 5) upon the land of the petitioner.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner requests for disposal of the writ application granting liberty to the petitioner to file fresh representation before the competent authority in accordance with law.

4. In view of the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioner, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the

Patna High Court CWJC No.11537 of 2023(3) dt.08-02-2024 2/2 petitioner to file fresh representation before the competent authority in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today.

5. In the event such representation is filed within the stipulated time, the competent authority shall dispose of the same in accordance with law after hearing the parties.

6. Writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
