2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonepur Rail P.S. Case No. 93 of 2024 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. Recovery is of 14.25 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 21.05.2024 and he has no criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 3rd Exclusive Special Excise Judge, Saran at Chapra in connection with Sonepur Rail P.S. Case No. 93 of 2024.

8. The petitioner will visit Danapur Police Station on the first & third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
