JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-05-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1.(i) For issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide police force for protection and security for maintaining peaceful possession over the land bearing Khata No. 59, Plot No. 1565, Area 6 Katha 11 Dhur situated at MauzaJonki, Basopatti in the District of Madhubani In the light of judgment dated 28-02-1996, passed by the Executive Magistrate, Jai Nagar in Case No. MR 09/96 in a proceeding u/s 145 of the code

Patna High Court CWJC No.11844 of 2022(2) dt.01-05-2023 2/2 of criminal procedure, whereby and whereunder possession of the petitioner has been declared and subsequent order dated 03-05-2000 vide letter No. 130 law issued under signature of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Jai Nagar, Madhubani to the Anchaladhikari as well as S.H.O.

Basopatti, Madhubani."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal of the aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
