The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sathi P.S. Case No. 115 of 2020, dated 21.07.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 325, 385, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.773 of 2021(3) dt.02-08-2021 2/3 The occurrence took place because of a dispute over drainage of water. The two sides had clashed against each other and cases were filed from both sides. The informant is said to have been injured in the occurrence. He has received two injuries, one of which has been reported to be grievous. The petitioner but has not been attributed with any specific overt act. He is not the author of any injury on the person of the informant. Persons from the side of the petitioner also have been injured in the occurrence. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court had granted provisional bail to the petitioner on 24.06.2021. It appears that because of some miscommunication, it was recorded in the order dated 24.06.2021 that the petitioner had assaulted two ladies of the prosecution side. The fact of the matter is that two ladies from the side of the petitioner were assaulted by the prosecution party of the instant case.

Considering the facts afore-stated, the provisional bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 24.06.2021 is, hereby, confirmed. He shall remain on the same bail-
