This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Baisi P.S. Case No. 169 of 2022 registered under section 279, 304, 304A, 337, 338, 384, 341,34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution story while the petitioner was demanding extortion money from the deceased, the deceased fell down after the vehicle went in the ditch and he died. The petitioner is in custody since 17.05.2023. Moreover, he has clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.46015 of 2023(2) dt.28-07-2023 2/2 Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing one year in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with P.S. Case No. 169 of The petitioner will visit Dagarua police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
