JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 30-09-2015 The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 307, 324, 380, 120B of the Indian Penal Code, Section 27 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act.

The matter relates to massacre leading to killing of thirty three persons.

The report of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-III, Jehanabad at Flag-E dated 04.09.2015 reflects that trial is likely to be concluded within a period of six month provided the witnesses are produced.

The report of Superintendent of Police, Arwal at Flag-F dated 22.09.2015 reflects that trial will be concluded within a period of 2-3 months as special team has been constituted for production of the witnesses.

In view of the above reports, this Court is not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5383 of 2014 (12) dt.30-09-2015 2/2 inclined to revise the earlier order.

It is expected from the learned Trial Court as well as Superintendent of Police, Arwal to make all effort to expedite and conclude the trial with the time frame for conclusion of trial transmitted to this Court. If the trial will not be concluded within a period of six months then petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly the application is disposed of in connection with Karpi P.S. Case No. 22 of 1999, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Shageer/- U T
