JUSTICE RAMESH KUMAR DATTA ORAL ORDER 17-11-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsels for the State and for the Accountant General, Bihar. The contempt application has been filed for wilful disobedience of the order dated 18.7.2012 passed by this Court in CWJC No. 5749 of 2012.

In the several show causes that have been filed the position now emerges is that the pension and gratuity of the petitioner have been sanctioned and other post retiral dues have also been paid.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, draws the attention of the Court to a recent sanction order dated 21.10.2016 issued by the District Programme Officer (Establishment) for

Patna High Court MJC No.1164 of 2015 (2) dt.17-11-2016 payment of Rs.17,50,840/- as arrears of pension, pursuant to the letter dated 27.9.2016 issued by the office of the Accountant General, Bihar stating that the said amount is required to be paid to the petitioner.

Since the sanction order has already been sent to the office of the Accountant General it is expected that the authorization for the same shall be issued within a period of two weeks from today and thereafter necessary payment shall be made to the petitioner forthwith.

With the aforesaid observations, the contempt application is disposed of.
