Petitioners apprehend arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. C-145 of 2016 registered under Sections498A, 504, 406 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that they have been falsely implicated in this case only because they are relatives of the husband of the complainant. Petitioners neither demand any dowry nor assaulted the complainant. The
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10358 of 2017 (2) dt.21-03-2017 2/2 allegations levelled are general and omnibus. Petitioners have been living separately from her husband. Petitioners have no criminal antecedent.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Raxaul at Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Complaint Case No. C-145 of 2016 corresponding to Trial No. 3295 of 2016 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
