2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bela P.S. Case No. 90/2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 21(b) of N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the recovery of 24.71 gms of heroine along with one digital weighing machine, 63,000/- Nepali rupees and Rs. 1,63,000/- Indian rupees from the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the case. Learned counsel further submits that he has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 09.04.2026. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the case/ trial.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

6. Considering the fact that from the recovery it appears that petitioner is a drug peddler, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
