====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 05-07-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a lady, aged about 75 years and is a person with clean antecedent and is the own grandmother of the deceased and the informant alleges that on account of matrimonial dispute, she alongwith her children was staying with her parents for the last 5-6 years, it is next alleged that her father-in-law had taken away her minor daughter on the pretext of cutting paddy crop, further it is next alleged that informant after sometimes came to know that her daughter has been killed.

During the course of investigation, nothing has come to connect the petitioner with the offence. It is next submitted that no motive has also been alleged as to why the grandmother would kill her own granddaughter. Learned counsel next submits that grandfather of the deceased was granted regular bail by order dated 30.03.2022 in Cr. Misc. No. 51427 of 2021. Learned counsel, thus, submits that petitioner being the grandmother has been implicated merely because the informant has strained relationship with her husband.
Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner.
Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and keeping in view the relationship of the petitioner with the deceased and also age of the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in
