Mr. Kameshwar Kumar-Gp17 Mr. S.K. Ranjan, AC to GP 17 ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE MADHURESH PRASAD ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 27-11-2018 In terms of the petitioner's appointment dated 11.02.2015 as Assistant Teacher of Mathematics in Ram Mohun Roy Seminary School, Khazanchi Road, Patna, the services of the petitioner on successful completion of probation was required to be confirmed subject to approval of the Directorate, Secondary Education, Government of Bihar. Petitioner has filed the writ petition complaining that though he has completed the period of probation, steps have not been taken to confirm his services in terms of his appointment dated 11.02.2015. He submits that in

Patna High Court CWJC No.16190 of 2016 dt.27-11-2018 2/2 respect of the same he has made his representation dated 28.09.2016 before the Director, Secondary Education Bihar, Patna but no decision has been taken on the claim of the petitioner for confirmation of his services.

In view of the limited grievance raised by the petitioner, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the instant writ petition pending as the approval has to be granted by the Director, Secondary Education Bihar, Patna in terms of the requirement and in accordance with law. The writ petition is therefore, disposed off with a direction to the Director, Secondary Education Bihar, Patna, respondent no. 3 to take a final decision in respect of the petitioner's claim as contained in his representation dated 28.09.2016 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order in accordance with law and by a reasoned and speaking order.
