2. The present writ petition has been filed for seeking following reliefs:

(a) Issuance of writs in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents to pay the Arrears of salary and D.A. from 1991 to February 2002 cut salary from December 1998 to February 2003 U.G.C. salary difference from January 1996 to December 2005 and promotional benefits from September 2011 to December 2015 of amounting Rs. 1,49,851/-, Rs. 44,288/-, Rs. 2,80,133/- and Rs. 14,41,038/-respectively and total Rs. 19,15,310/- only to the petitioner.

(b) The Respondents be directed to pay the entire dues as claimed by the petitioner and Bill of the aforesaid dues of the petitioner furnished by the Principal of S.N. College, Shahmal Khairadeo, Rohtas much earlier for sanction and payment of the same.

(c) The Respondents further be directed to pay the dues arrears of salary in different heads

Patna High Court CWJC No.10151 of 2024(3) dt.03-04-2025 2/2 to the Senior Citizen petitioner as earliest with 18% compound interest, Penal interest and litigation cost as delay caused due to the ignorant act of the Respondents.

(d) To grant such other relief/reliefs for which the petitioner is entitled too.

3. Considering the reliefs sought by the petitioner, the petitioner is directed to file a detailed representation before the respondent no.3 (the Registrar, Veer Kunwar Singh University, Ara) along with all supporting documents within a period of four weeks and the respondent no.3 is well advised to consider the case of the petitioner after affording opportunity of personal hearing or through his counsel and pass a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within one month thereafter.

4. It is made clear that the respondent no.3 shall be liable for non-compliance of this order within the stipulated period.

5. If the petitioner is found entitled for the arrears, the payment of the same shall be made to the petitioner within two months thereafter.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the writ application stands disposed of.
