17-08-2015 The present writ petition was filed, wherein, a prayer was made for setting aside the confiscation proceeding. However, at the time of argument, Sri Sanjay Kumar Tiwary, learned counsel for the petitioner, in presence of learned A.C. to Standing Counsel - 25, submits that during the pendency of the writ petition, the confiscation proceeding has already been concluded and against the order of confiscation, the petitioner has preferred an appeal, which is pending before the appellate authority. In view of changed circumstances, learned counsel for the petitioner makes a prayer for disposal of the present writ petition so that he may pursue the appeal.
