2. The petition has been preferred by the petitioner seeking following relief(s):- (i) This writ application is being filed for issuance of appropriate Writ/writs, Order/orders, Direction/directions to the respondent authorities in the nature of
Patna High Court CWJC No.11328 of 2025(2) dt.24-07-2025 2/3 Mandamus to quash the Final Merit list dated 05.05.2025 published by the Gram Kachahari Nayaya Mitra Niyojan Committee Kumbhi (as contained in Annexure-p-6), and also seeks a direction to the Respondent authority to select this petitioner on the post of Gram Panchayat Nyaya Mitra for Gram Panchayat Raj Kumbhi within Block Cheriya Bariyarpur District Begusarai.
3. It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is a law graduate and comes within the category of Economically Weaker Section (EWS). She applied for the post of Nyaya Mitra under the EWS category. The respondent nos. 08 and 09 were also applied for the same post, however, at the time of filling up online application form, both the respondent nos. 08 and 09 did upload their certificate of EWS. Therefore, on this ground their candidature has been rejected by the competent authority vide (Annexure P/5). To rectify their default, both the respondent nos. 08 and 09 made their applications and prayed that their candidature be taken under the EWS category. The matter is pending before the respondents. The petitioner makes her objection through (Annexure P/8) dated 22.05.2025 but no decision has been taken by the concerned respondent yet. Therefore, it is prayed by the counsel that this petition may be disposed of directing the concerned respondent i.e. respondent no. 03 to consider and decide the
Patna High Court CWJC No.11328 of 2025(2) dt.24-07-2025 3/3 objection as raised by the petitioner within the stipulated period fixed by this Court.
4. The above limited prayer made by the counsel is not opposed by the respondents-State counsel.
5. Considering the submissions the petition is disposed of. The respondent no. 03 is directed to consider and decide and pass a reasoned order in accordance with relevant rules and laws on the application /objection submitted by the petitioner (Annexure P/8) as early as possible probably within 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
