The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kartahan P.S.Case No.26/15 registered under Sections 406 and 420 of I.P.C.

Accusation is that the petitioner being the contractor was engaged by KEC Company in providing electric connection and fixing the meter in the house of the BPL category's families, and he took cash of Rs.500/- to Rs.1500/- per family for connecting the electric connection and fixing the meter in their houses.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18903 of 2017 (7) dt.04-09-2017 2/2 Submission is that the petitioner who is labourer contractor was only liable to supply labourer , putting the pole connecting them with electric wire and fixing meter but with oblique motive he has been falsely implicated in this case. He has no criminal antecedent.

Having considered the facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Afjal Alam, J.M. 1st Class, Hajipur, Vaishali, in connection with Kartahan P.S.Case No.26/15, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
