The petitioner prays for a recount of the election to the post of Mukhiya, Gram Panchayat, Katuana in the District of Jamui inter alia on grounds of infirmity in the counting process. The remedy for the petitioner lies under the Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006 and the Bihar Panchayat Election Rules, 2006 framed thereunder and, if so advised, the petitioner may take recourse thereto. No cause for indulgence is made out. The writ petition is disposed of.
