JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-12-2024 The present petition has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 488 of 2021, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 366(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

At this juncture, it may be noted that the petitioner had earlier also filed an anticipatory bail petition bearing Criminal Misc. No. 13941 of 2023, however, the same was disposed off as not pressed, by an order dated 24.05.2023, granting liberty to the petitioner, as had been sought for by the Ld. Counsel for the petitioner, to surrender before the learned Trial Court within a period of six weeks and apply for grant of bail. In such view of the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner has, at the outset, submitted that the time granted to

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner vide the earlier order dated 24.05.2023, for surrendering before the learned Court of C.J.M., Sitamarhi in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 488 of 2021, by a further period of six weeks from today. 4.

Rest of the order dated 24.05.2023 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 13941 of 2023, shall remain the same. 5.

The petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
