2. This is the second attempt on behalf of the petitioner for grant of bail in connection with Laukaha P.S. Case No. 135 of 2019 corresponding to G.R. No. 826 of 2019 registered for the offence under Sections 457/380 of the IPC.
3. Earlier, the bail application of the petitioner has been rejected by this Court vide order dated 04.10.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 44167 of 2024, which reads as under: "Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.
2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Laukaha P.S. Case No. 135 of 2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 457/380 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner alonwith other co-accused persons is accused of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.48357 of 2025(3) dt.10-02-2026 2/2 committing theft.
4. The petitioner is said to have committed theft. He is accused in six more similar and serious cases. He is in jail since 02.01.2024.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and therefore, the present bail application is hereby rejected.
6. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial of all cases pending against the petitioner and conclude the same as early as possible.
7. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the District Judge, Madhubani for its compliance through FAX or e- mail forthwith."
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the evidence has been closed and the trial is on the verge of its conclusion.
5. Considering the above facts and circumstances and also the fact that the trial is on the verge of its conclusion, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
