Learned counsel for the petitioners filed this petition for extension of time to surrender in the court below in pursuance of the order dated 12.10.2015, but the petitioners did not surrender in the court below.

The petitioners filed this petition for extension of time only on 07.04.2017. The petitioners have remained negligent for more than 11⁄2 years and the reasons for non-appearance do not appear to be convincing.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I do not feel inclined to extend the period to surrender of the petitioners in the court below. Accordingly, the modification petition is dismissed. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) KKSINHA/- U T
