2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madhepur P.S. Case No. 211 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 201, 302, 304B, 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and other accused persons are said to have killed the deceased for demand of dowry.

4. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the deceased died due to illness and at the time of occurrence, the petitioner was working in Mumbai.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is in jail since 13.05.2024.

6. Learned APP for the State has opposed the application of the petitioner and has submitted that no medical document and there is neither any proof of the treatment of the deceased nor any proof of the petitioner being working in Mumbai.

7. Considering the serious allegations levelled against the petitioner of killing his wife for demand of dowry, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

9. The trial Court of directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
