The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bikramganj P.S. Case No. 139 of 2019 for the offenses under Sections 420/34of the Indian Penal Code and 11 of the Bengal Gambling Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he was involved in playing Tintasiya and Guessing through playing card in front of SDO Office, Bikramganj.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. The petitioner is in custody since 15.4.2019.
