Petitioner seeks bail in Sono P.S. Case No.258 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Sections 272, 273 Indian Penal Code and Section(s) 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged that total 160 litres foreign liquor has been recovered from the Tata Sumo vehicle. Driver of the vehicle ran away.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that he is neither owner nor driver of the vehicle. He has been arrested merely on suspicion.

Petitioner is in custody since 18.06.2019 having clean antecedents.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the ADJ 2nd, Jamui, in connection with Sono P.S.
