1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this is the second attempt of the petitioner to seek regular bail. It is submitted that petitioner had earlier moved before this Court seeking regular bail by filing Cr. Misc. No.64512 of 2024 and the same was rejected by an order dated 20.12.2024 on the ground that the petitioner is implicated in a case of murder and he had earlier moved this Court in the Year 2017 seeking anticipatory bail by filing Cr. Misc. No.45906 of 2017 and the same was rejected by an order dated 02.11.2017 directing the petitioner to surrender before the learned trial Court and seek
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.44443 of 2025(12) dt.11-07-2025 2/2 regular bail, but then, petitioner despite being aware of the order dated 02.11.2017 in Cr. Misc. No.45906 of 2017 did not surrender rather was taken in custody on 18.06.2024.
3. Since petitioner did not abide by the order of this Court dated 02.11.2017 in Cr. Misc. No.45906 of 2017 and seven years thereafter was taken in custody, as such, if privilege of regular bail is granted to the petitioner, the petitioner may abscond, as such, the Court is not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.
4. The prayer of the petitioner for bail stands rejected. (Satyavrat Verma, J) vikash/- U T
