2. In the present case, the petitioner has claimed violation of the order dated 23.11.2022 passed by this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 15363 of 2018 to the extent that direction of this Court for payment of retiral due as per the 7th pay scale, has not been complied fully and the lesser pay has been fixed by the University Authority.

3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the

Patna High Court MJC No.1857 of 2023(12) dt.21-11-2025 2/2 University submits that pay on the basis of 7th pay commission scale has been fixed which would be evident from R/16 of the supplementary show cause filed by the University along with the basis of fixation of 7th pay scale.

Considering the fact that there is a dispute with regard to wrong fixation of pay scale, this Court is of the opinion that contempt is not made out and if the petitioner has any grievance with regard to less fixation of pay of 7th Pay commission, the petitioner shall be at liberty to file a representation before the Vice Chancellor of the University and if such representation is filed, the University shall be obliged to dispose the same in accordance with law within a reasonable period of six months.

5. Accordingly, present application stands disposed of.
