JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-06-2018 Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Jankinagar P.S.Case No. 34 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation as per FIR is that informant was intercepted by two accused persons and taken away his motorcycle and snatched Rs.1100/- from him and name of the petitioner transpires during course of investigation.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that except confessional statement there is nothing against the petitioner.
Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner on the ground that petitioner is involved in three other cases also.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.20419 of 2018 (3) dt.18-06-2018 2/2 Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory8 bail to the petitioner.
Petitioner to surrender and make prayer for regular bail, which shall be considered on its own merit, without being prejudiced by this order.
