Through this writ application, the petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to grant intermediate trained scale from the date of initial appointment and for revision of the pay scale as per his entitlement.
It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that he was appointed on compassionate ground on the post of Assistant Teacher on 20.09.1994 taking into consideration the educational qualification of intermediate trained at the time of appointment but he was appointed in pay scale of Rs.975-1540/- which is prescribed for untrained teacher though the petitioner admittedly was intermediate

It is contended that the petitioner has approached the Superintendent of Jail, Shahid Jubba Sahni Central Jail, Bhagalpur by filing a representation on 6.01.2015 but no decision has been taken as yet.
Accordingly, this writ application stands disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent no.2, the Inspector General (Prison), Government of Bihar, Patna by filing a fresh representation along with a copy of this order. On such representation being filed, let the respondent no.2 take a decision upon it on its own merit and in accordance with law expeditiously but not later than three months from the date of filing of such representation.
