The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Excise (Complaint) Case No. 342/2019-20 corresponding to Excise Act Case No. 65/2020 instituted for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2018.

Regard being had to the recovery of 81 litres of liquor from the veranda of the house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him. The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the
