The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "(i) For quashing the notice dated 19-04-23 under section 3 of Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 in Encroachment Case No. 14/2022-23 (contained in Annexure-2 to this writ petition) issued under the signature of Circle Officer, Hilsa, Nalanda.

(ii) To stay the operation of the notice dated 1904-23 under Section 3 of Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act 1956 in Encroachment Case Case No.14 of 2022-23 issued under the

Patna High Court CWJC No.9915 of 2023(2) dt.19-09-2023 2/2 signature of Circle Officer, Hilsa, Nalanda, during the pendency of this writ application." 2.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file his objections to the aforesaid notice dated 19.04.2023, before the Circle Officer, Hilsa, District-Nalanda. Liberty so sought is granted. 3.

It is needless to state that in case appropriate objection is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the Circle Officer, Hilsa, Nalanda shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass the final order under Section 6(1) of the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956, forthwith. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
