2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Cyber P.S. Case No. 33 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable u/ss 255, 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66C and 66D of the Information and Technology Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner and the co-accused are alleged to have indulged in illegal withdrawing rupees from the bank account of the innocent people after taking their thumb impressions by using biometric machine, laptop, finger scanner and rubber stamp etc for committing cheating.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2024.

5. Learned APP for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner. It is further stated that on search, a laptop, mobile, ATM Card, PAN Card, biometric machine were recovered from the house of the petitioner.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as gravity of offence against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail.

7. Learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of six months/ at the earliest.

8. The application stands rejected.
