The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Kako PS case no. 55 of 2022 instituted for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201, 120(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.
At the outset, the learned counsel for the informant has submitted that the trial is on the verge of completion, inasmuch all the prosecution witnesses have already been examined.
If that be so, then I do not find any reason to entertain the present petition, at the moment, however, I deem it fit and proper to direct the learned trial court to conclude the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No. 45107 of 2022(3) dt.01-02-2023 2/2 trial, within a period of six months from today. Nonetheless, the petitioner is granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail, in case the trial is not concluded within a period of six months from today.
The present petition stands disposed off with the aforesaid observations and directions.
