"It seems Office of the Accountant General is coming in the way of compliance of the order of this Court dated 11.05.2022 read with decision of the Sate Government. Therefore, in the interest of rendering justice, petitioner is hereby directed to implead Office of the Accountant General as party respondent No. 16. In this regard petitioner's counsel is permitted to take Dasti service to the Office of the Accountant General at the earliest.

2. The Deputy Secretary, Road Construction Department, Patna is hereby directed to appear in person with relevant records.

3. In the meanwhile, he is hereby directed to have interaction with the office of the Accountant General relating to payment made through treasury cheque/demand draft to the petitioner for the reasons that it is more than one year with reference to communication dated 05.07.2022 vide Annexure - R series to the show cause dated 23.01.2023. Merely paper compliance is very unfair.

3. Relist this matter on 03.10.2023."

2. Today, supplementary show cause has been filed on behalf of O.P Nos. 1, 5 to 9 along with Annexures R/E, R/F, R/G and R/H series. It is evident that petitioner's grievance has been redressed from time to time, therefore, nothing remains in the present contempt petition.

3. Accordingly, present M.J.C./contempt petition stands dropped.
