JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 02-05-2023 The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present case is to direct the Passport Officer, Regional Passport Office, Patna, i.e. the respondent no.3 to consider the case of the petitioner for issuance of fresh passport, taking into account the date of birth certificate of the petitioner, issued by the respondent no.5 on 10.01.2020, mentioning her date of birth as 11.04.2001, as also considering the letter issued by the Nagar Parishad, Forbesganj, Araria dated 28.05.2020. Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner, in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to grant

Patna High Court CWJC No.11892 of 2022(2) dt.02-05-2023 2/2 liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh application for grant of passport, annexing all the requisite documents, as aforesaid and as required, under the law, whereupon the respondent no.3 shall take a final decision with regard to the case of the petitioner, for issuance of passport, within a period of eight weeks of filing of appropriate application by the petitioner for grant of passport. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
