The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 175, 420, 409, 120B and 201 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner was Panchayat Secretary and allegation is that he did not provide the file folder of the teachers appointed on contract.

Submission of the petitioner is that he is a government servant and it might be a case of disciplinary proceeding for insubordination. However, no criminal case is made out.
