The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Jogapatti (Nawalpur) P.S. Case No. 359 of 2019, dated 26.09.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 304-B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40721 of 2020(2) dt.22-06-2021 2/3 The petitioner No. 1 is the mother-in-law and the petitioner No. 2 is the sister-in-law of the deceased. The petitioner No. 3 is the brother of the husband of the deceased.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have been named in this case because of their relationship with the husband of the deceased, but nothing has been alleged against them specifically. The accusation of demand and torture is against the husband and the father-in-law of the deceased.

The husband of the deceased is in custody.

The learned counsel for the petitioners has also drawn the notice of this Court that the petitioner No. 2 is an unmarried female.

Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioners above-named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of eight weeks, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40721 of 2020(2) dt.22-06-2021 3/3 each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, West Champaran at Bettiah, in connection with Jogapatti (Nawalpur) P.S. Case No. 359 of 2019, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. The application stands allowed.
