JUSTICE RAVI RANJAN ORAL ORDER 12-10-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the application for grant of pistol licence was filed on 19.07.2013 but no final decision has been taken as yet by the licensing authority whereas the Officer-in-charge of the concerned Police Station has reported that the petitioner requires a firearm as he is actively supporting the administration against the anti-social elements of the locality. It is further contended that there were two incidents of firing upon the petitioner for which F.I.Rs. have been lodged. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Patna to take a final decision
