JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 09-03-2021 Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove all the defects as pointed out by office within four weeks after start of normal functioning of the Court. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the informant and Mr. Akhileshwar Dayal, learned A.P.P. for the State.
This is the third attempt of the petitioner to obtain regular bail in connection with Session Trial No. 51 of 2019 arising out of Shahpur P.S. Case No. 208 of 2018 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 324, 326, 307, 302, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Earlier the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner has been rejected by the learned coordinate Benches of this Court in
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.308 of 2021(2) dt.09-03-2021 2/2 Cr. Misc. No. 59364 of 2018 and Cr. Misc. No. 72937 of 2019. In view of the information furnished to this Court by Mr. Manish Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the informant that the trial is likely to be concluded very soon as altogether six charge-sheet witnesses have already been examined, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Prayer is refused.
Let the trial be expedited and concluded preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
The application stands disposed of.
