2. The petitioner seeks grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Masaurhi (Lahsuna) P.S. Case No. 224 of 2026, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 74, 109(1), 352, 351(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

3. The allegation in the F.I.R. is that on account of a domestic dispute, the petitioner along with his wife (who is the gotani of the informant) entered the house of the informant, attempted to outrage her modesty, and assaulted her, resulting in a leg injury to the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45702 of 2026(2) dt.21-07-2026 2/2 present case. It is submitted that the parties are family members (agnates) and the alleged incident arose out of a domestic dispute between them. It is further submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the domestic nature of the dispute between family members, as well as the clean antecedents of the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Masaurhi, Patna in connection with Masaurhi (Lahsuna) P.S. Case No. 224 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. (Ranjan Kumar Jha, J) rashmi/- U T
