This writ application has been filed for quashing impugned notice/order dated 02.08.2021 passed by the Circle Officer, Harlakhi, Madhubani (Respondent No. 5) in Simankan Vad (Boundary Dispute Case) No. 08 of 2019-20 whereby and whereunder he has directed the petitioner to produce the documents of ownership relating to the land in question.

3. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioner requests disposal of the writ petition with direction to

Patna High Court CWJC No.16453 of 2021(4) dt.08-12-2023 2/2 the Circle Officer, Harlakhi, Madhubani (Respondent No. 5) to dispose of the Simankan Vad (Boundary Dispute Case) No. 08 of 2019-20.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Respondent No. 5 to dispose of the aforesaid case in accordance with law after hearing the parties, preferably, within a period of six months from today.

5. Till disposal of the Simankan Vad (Boundary Dispute Case) No. 08 of 2019-20 by the Respondent No. 5, status quo shall be maintained over the land in question.

6. Writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
