2. A perusal of the writ application shows that the petitioner had applied online for admission in D.EI. Ed course on 09.05.2019 under reserved female category. It is her case that a merit list of 2844 successful candidates were prepared and published by the District Education and Training Institute,

Patna High Court CWJC No.12977 of 2019(3) dt.18-07-2023 2/3 Khagaria in which the name of petitioner find place at serial no. 2163 (RF). An objection was invited so that a final selection list may be prepared and published for admission in D.EI. Ed. Course for the Session 2019-21.

It is stated that a merit list should have been prepared on the basis of the norms of the Bihar Government, published by Bihar Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development as contained in Annexure 'P/4' but the respondent authorities have sidetracked the norms of reservation criteria and prepared first selection/merit list for science 2019-21. The petitioner was not selected and her name did not find place in the merit list whereafter she filed an application before the Principal, DIET, Khagaria on 19.06.2019 showing that she had applied under RF category despite that her name does not find place in the selection list. Despite the representation made by the petitioner, it was not considered by the concerned authorities.

4. It is evident from the kind of statements and submissions made in the writ application that the petitioner was seeking her admission in D.EI. Ed. Course for the Session 201921. This writ application was taken up on 28.06.2019 when the respondents were given an opportunity to file a counter affidavit

5. Learned counsel for the State submits that a counter affidavit has been filed, however, the same is not on the record.

6. Thus, at this stage, in the year 2023 no direction, as prayed for, may be issued by this Court.

7. This Writ Application has become infructuous. It is being disposed of accordingly.
