2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gaighat P.S. Case No. 207 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 363, 365, 366A, 328 and 376 of the Indian Penal Code r/w u/s 4, 6, 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is said to have kidnapped the victim girl and raped her.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 04.06.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed with direction to the Court below to expedite the trial of the petitioner.
