The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Gaurichak P.S. Case No. 110/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
The informant alleged that the petitioners and others were threatening the informant and his family members not to contest panchayat election. On account of this dispute, the petitioners having armed with different weapons came to his house and made indiscriminate firing, assaulted the family members of the informant.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.5431 of 2017 (3) dt.08-03-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that on account of village politics, the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case, but it appears that witnesses have also supported the factum of occurrence.
Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioners, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners above-named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
