BAJANTHRI ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 27-01-2022 This matter is heard via video conferencing due to circumstances prevailing on account of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Mr. Saroj Sharma, learned State Counsel accepts notice for Respondents.

In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief(s):- "For issuance of appropriate writ or writs, direction or directions, order or orders commanding the respondents to issue Last Payment Certificate (LPC) in favour of the petitioner, an A.S.I. of Bihar Police, a front line corona warrior, in this abnormal situation of COVID may be able to get current salary which he is not getting since July, 2020, after his transfer from

Patna High Court CWJC No.2428 of 2021 dt.27-01-2022 2/2 Munger District to Saran District and from Saran District to Gopalganj District, with interest and compensation for his mental as well as physical harassment. At present petitioner discharging his duty at Patna itself of deputation."

In support of the aforesaid relief petitioner submitted representation dated 23.12.2019, 30.06.2020 and 14.07.2020 vide Annexure- 6. The concerned respondent has not taken any decision as to why the petitioner is not entitled for the relief sought on the petitioner's representation.

Therefore, the concerned respondent is hereby directed to take note of grievance of the petitioner and redress the same in passing speaking order and communicate the same to the petitioner. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of one month from the date of receipt of this order failing which petitioner is entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified at Rs. 10,000/-.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
