The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.373 of 2021 registered under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the D.P. Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is further submitted that during the mediation process, on 01.05.2023 both the petitioner and the complainant were present before the Mediator and after verbal agreement, an award was prepared which was signed by the petitioner (husband) but the complainant ran away without signing the letter of agreement

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.47157 of 2023(2) dt.06-09-2023 2/2 even without informing the Mediator as is evident from Annexure 3 to this petition.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Siwan in connection with Complaint Case No.373 of 2021 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
