2. Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

3. This application is filed for grant of regular bail in connection with Birpur P.S. Case No. 69 of 2023 registered under sections 341, 384, 386, 427, 504, 506 and 34 of Indian Penal Code.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant while getting petrol was surrounded by six smugglers who demanded Rs. 5,00,000/- as extortion. The petitioner is one of the accused and is in custody since 29.03.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.45969 of 2023(2) dt.04-08-2023 2/2 for bail.

6. Considering the period of custody, this application for regular bail is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completing six months in custody and on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M.-I, Birpur in connection with Birpur P.S. Case No. 69 of 2023

8. The petitioner will visit Birpur police station on the first Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner.
