Rani Talab District Patna. 1.Respondent :The State of Bihar, through Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department, Government of Bihar, Patna.

2.Respondent :The District Magistrate, Patna. 3.Respondent :The District Provident Fund Officer, Patna. 4.Respondent :Block Development Officer Masaurhi Patna. 5.Respondent :That Accountant General, Bihar, Patna. Present:- Member(Judicial) :Mr. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah Member(Legal Profession) : Mr. Binod Bihari Sinha, Advocate AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, State and the Accountant General.

The writ petition stands disposed off in the following agreed terms. Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to file a representation before the Director, Provident Fund, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi for payment of his GPF amount pertaining to the period he spent in the present State of Jharkhand i.e., Block-Sonua, Jharkhand.

Learned counsel for the State agrees that payment of statutory interest on GPF for the period for which the State of Bihar is liable, if already not paid, shall be paid to the petitioner within one month from today for which the petitioner may represent before the respondent no. 3. It is agreed that if such a representation is filed within three weeks from today, the same shall be looked into by the respondent no. 3 and detailed order passed within the next three weeks. If anything is required to be paid, the same shall be paid within the next four weeks.

The petitioner shall further be at liberty to move before the appropriate forum in accordance with law, with any of his grievance which still remains. The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
