This application for regular bail arises out of Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 241 of 2020 disclosing offences punishable under Section 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a)/32/41(i) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is in custody since 03.08.2020. Allegedly, 675 litres of illicit Indian made foreign liquor was recovered from a pick-up van and 36 litres from the boot of a Tiago vehicle. While rejecting the petitioner's prayer for regular bail earlier it was observed that the petitioner shall be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months, if there was no

Considering the facts and circumstances, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount, each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai, in Sahebpur Kamal P.S. Case No. 241 of 2020.
